COPPA Notice

This COPPA Notice applies only to the SafeWatch product.

This COPPA Notice explains how SafeWatch handles information related to children under 13 in accordance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

1. Parent-Managed Service

SafeWatch is intended to be set up and managed by a parent or legal guardian.

Children do not create standalone accounts.

2. Child Information We Process

When a parent creates a child profile, we may process limited profile and usage information, such as:

  • Display name selected by the parent
  • Viewing preferences
  • Watch history needed for app functionality

We do not require a child email address, phone number, or direct contact details.

3. How We Use Child-Related Data

  • Operate parent approval workflows
  • Provide age-appropriate viewing controls configured by parents
  • Maintain service security and reliability

4. Disclosure

We do not sell child personal information.

We may disclose limited information to service providers that help us run the service, such as hosting, payments, and analytics vendors, under contractual safeguards.

5. Parental Rights

Parents or legal guardians may:

  • Review information associated with child profiles
  • Request deletion of child profile data
  • Revoke consent by deleting child profiles or closing the account

6. Data Retention and Security

Child profile information is retained only as long as needed to provide the service, satisfy legal obligations, and resolve disputes.

We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect stored data.
